Happy Easter

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! Image from flickr via Glen Mullaly.

I would have loved to participate in the "week of vintage childrens' book illustration" - but dedicating myself to such things at the moment is pretty much impossible. I was so totally aware that two babies under two years would be hard work, but you just don't realise how full on it is until you're actually in it! No time for anything! It has also been a very emotional week as one of my closest friends just had a baby boy 6 days after Leon was born and he is in the intensive care unit at the Mercy Hospital. We are going to visit today and have our fingers tightly crossed for baby Owen.

our thoughts are with your friend - the NICU is not the nicest of places, but the staff there are wonderful and do amazing things. and you'd be surprised how tough the little ones are.

My thoughts are with Owen. I hope you hear good news soon.

And I totally hear you on the two under two thing. Rest assured it does get better, and it fact even becomes wonderful. Sounds unbelievable I know when you are in the thick of it, but just wait until they nap at the same time each day and you can eat lunch and craft in peace for a few hours each day. It is bliss I tell you!
