fast lane blues

Had I known that  

 a) peter would develop a heamatoma following a vasectomy and be bedridden for two weeks and not be allowed out except to pee

b) everything surrounding me would fall apart including my back sliding doors not locking due to being weathered, the car having no dash electrics like music, air con etc. etc., central heating in house not working, typepad kicking me out of my blog for months, computer being sent off for weeks to be fixed and sewing machine dying in the arse

c) kids and myself would get nasty flu

then I would never have

a) decided to hold Twiglet stalls at both the Maribyrnong Makers Market this Saturday and The Stitches and Craft Show this week

b) said yes to last minute fashion week makeups

c) set up and cleaned up (entirely on my own) Leon's 1st birthday party consisting of 50+ guests and made from scratch an enormous "very hungry catepillar" cake

 

 

                   

So you can imagine the crazy lady status I am in and that I am trying desperately to keep cool and be nice to my teething child, tanty two year old and x-box playing husband. Today all love has gone for this here blog as I tried over and over since months ago to write posts about all great stuff like Christmas and other markets and stuff and all the blog post work would just disappear into oblivion and then eventually it would just kick me out and close down. I just had to let it go for a while and come back when I was ready.

So anyhoo - with my chin up and my optimistic hat on I will be manning the  Onegirl/Twiglet  stall at  The Stitches and Craft Show  on Wednesday 9-1, Thursday 1-5, Friday 9-1 and Sunday 9-5 (Leslie all other times). Twiglet will also be at  Maribyrnong Makers Market  in Seddon this Saturday from 10-3 - and I believe it is also  Seddon Festival  so it should be a good day.
