This Is... Me taking a picture of myself in the mirror with my favourite accessory accessories.

There was NO WAY I was going to be able to choose just one - and that's just jewellry! If I had of started with the handbags and scarves etc there would have been a photo mosaic. There was also NO WAY anyone was gonna see my head at this stage (yep-due yesterday!). Fat face, ruddy red skin, dry peeling lips and not a scrap of makeup.. Uh-uh. So here's what I narrowed it down to. My horn/tooth necklace thing found in an antique store in Seville, Spain on my last trip there. Red leather origami rose from Zakkaya purchased to go with outfit for a friends wedding last year. Gold glomesh snake. Can't remember where from - probably op shop. Wear it to death...

That much bloodspill (even if it looked like paint) is not good to experience when for the last half of the film you are having painful contractions. Result of contractions? Nuthin. Just Panadol and bed. Again. Review of film? I do love a Tim Burton number. I do love Johnny and Helena. I don't usually love a musical - all the singing - it shits me - but I did like this one. I just didn't love it...

This is..... Sunday Lunch:

Yep - a good ol' pastie from the local bakery with HEAPS of sauce eaten in front of the computer whilst I catch up on either blogs or boring admin. Sentimentally, though, Sunday lunch reminds me of going to my Nans in Northcote and she would cook a roast for us all. The lamb would be beautiful and the roast potatoes perfect. Peas, honey carrots and mint sauce. SO should have learnt how to cook from her while I had the chance!

Country Road Catalogue came in the mail. I have decided I LOVE these leather gloves and would also like her hair colour... (OK - I am a bit of a sucker for Country Road, if you can tell me where to get these gloves or similar from a handmade shop I will support them instead!)

I know, I know - It's a bit late! I wish I could say that (being 37 weeks pregnant) I have been slack and have had my water-retained feet raised up on some cushions and am lazing around the house but it's just not true! I have been at craft meets and getting ready for stalls at festivals and doing the last of my makeup bookings... So anyway - better late than never.

I collect way too many things. My fave thing to hunt and gather is 1960's Art Glass but I am fussy about the shapes and colours. I bought a small red glass Murano sculpture from Venice 6 years ago and carried it in my backpack around Europe for 6 months and managed to safely get it home in one piece. I also love retro bar and cocktail ware, anything spanish, West German Pottery, succulents, fabric of course and Pete and I share a love for good looking cookware. (He actually uses it to cook stuff in and I just look at it and polish it) There are so many other things that I love to collect - too many to list. Now that I am a mama I have a whole new obsession with kids stuff (and of course had to re-arrange the entire house to make it safe for Mahlie and safe for my precious glass from Mahlie).

As soon as I can I will catch up on my "30 days of the everyday" posts... I was so proud of myself for doing it everyday. Everyday life just got in the way!?

Do you ever go to the supermarket and spend $200 and come home and realise you didn't buy any actual meals? Our cupboards and fridge are now stocked with snacks, drinks, fruit and nappies. Nuthin' to eat for dinner tonight though... (These are Ginger Kisses - I LOVE them and, preggers or not, I will try not to eat the whole pack at once.)

This is what scares me: I cannot express how fearful I am of snakes. Funny enough I am year of the snake. I have had two encounters with them in my lifetime, one of them almost fateful. It's an honest to goodness phobia...

This is my favourite cup: NB: I got it from a junk store in Yarraville that was closing down. It is so precious that it sits HIGH up on my kitchen shelves and NEVER gets used! I have a fave that I use everyday that's not spesh at all... Here's another pic of this one:
