Mahlie turned 4!
and had, as she calls it, a "purple fairy garden tea party" at which pass the parcel and musical chairs was played to the sounds of her new favourite band, Supergrass.
Our playgroup had a Spring Fair, which I couldn't be at because I had Maribyrnong Makers Market and a big makeup job - so my contribution was to make up DIY felt steiner toy kits to sell at the craft stall. There are a few left so if anyone wants to make their own toadstool, chicken set or dolphin - let me know and I will send one out! These, along with the made-up finished toys are a great fundraiser for our local non-funded playgroup.
Today at Jimmy Buttons sourcing trims and bothering the staff with my two lovely monsters who were pulling on rolls of ribbon and dropping sultanas on the floor...
The big question this month is "Will I meet my unrealistic deadline of the first week of October to get all my new products made up and desired stock levels produced for Twiglet?" (which I will be taking Finders Keepers and also represented by Ink & Spindle at Bowerbird on the same weekend). It's going to mean focus, dedication, working late, no post break-up-trash-baggery and no procrastination.. good luck to moi!
